James Niblock, Director of Choral Ensembles, Colgate University, New York, will lead a series of choral workshops for directors of secondary school, university, community and church choirs.

THE BAY FESTIVAL CHOIR
Dr James Niblock DMA, will lead our massed choir, The Bay Festival Choir.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for singers of all ages (Year 9 students to 99 year olds) to learn from and perform under the baton of this world class director. The repertoire is called “The Repertoire of Peace” and we want you to join us. It is not essential that you be able to read music as score and practice CDs are provided to learn from.

This group of artists comes from Waihi, Waihi Beach and beyond, and have painted together for the last 2 years. The eight artists all started painting in recent years, but are now expressing themselves through their art and encouraging one another. Their works are in a wide range of styles, many inspired by the beauty of the local surroundings.
They meet as a self-help group on Monday morning each week at St. Peter’s church hall in Marine Ave, Waihi Beach.
